Oppo A5x features a plastic frame, a polycarbonate plastic back with a matte finish, and a glass front. It has a simple and beautiful design with a boxy body, having a flat display and frame, and slightly rounded edges. Its corners are kept rounded, which basically increases the comfort of the handset and also protects the device against accidental drops. It has a rectangular camera module with a glossy finish featuring two protruding camera rings and an LED Flash.

Oppo A5x has a center punch-hole display with noticeable bezels and a slightly bigger chin.
