Oppo A18 features a beautiful, glowing design with a boxy-type body having a flat display, frame, and edges. Its corners are kept rounded to enhance the grip experience and protect the device against accidental drops. It has a long vertical pill-shaped camera module featuring another oval-shaped ring in the upper part with two cameras and an LED Flash. It has a plastic back with a matte finish, a plastic frame, and a glass front.

Oppo A18 has an adaptive 90 Hz refresh rate and a pixel density of 270 ppi with an 89.80% screen ratio. It has only 720p resolution. It has a 6.56-inch dew drop notch display with noticeable bezels and a slightly thinner chin at the bottom. The device contains an IP54 dust-tight and splash-resistant rating, which means it resists only accidental splashes, mist, and light rain but is not fully waterproof. It has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner in the power button.

Performance and Software

Oppo has installed the Mediatek Helio G85 (12-nanometer 4G chipset), along with the Mali G52 MC2 GPU, in the Oppo A18.
